Wimbledon Finals

The Wimbledon Finals take place at the end of the tournament to determine the champions of that year.  The Wimbledon Tournament occurs over a period of two weeks in late June and early July.  The second Saturday and Sunday are the popular ladies’ and gentlemen’s Wimbledon finals, the outcome of which determines the Wimbledon champions.

Every year 128 players compete in the singles event, 64 pairs in each single-sex doubles event, and 48 pairs compete in mixed doubles.  Over the course of the two-week tournament, 4 singles competitors and 12 doubles competitors remain.  The Wimbledon finals attract thousands of visitors every year.
