Wimbledon Champions

If you are planning on going to Wimbledon for the Tennis championships, or just watching on TV, it’s a good idea to learn about the current Wimbledon champions.  There are 5 events: Gentleman’s Singles, Ladies’ Singles, Gentleman’s Doubles, Ladies’ Doubles, and Mixed Doubles.  The current 2009 Wimbledon champions for each event are as follows:

Gentlemen’s Wimbledon Champion: Roger Federer

Ladies’ Wimbledon Champion: Serena Williams

Gentlemen’s Doubles Wimbledon Champions: Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjic

Ladies’ Doubles Wimbledon Champions: Serena Williams and Venus Williams

Mixed Doubles Wimbledon Champions: Mark Knowles and Anna-Lena Grönefeld
